Review: Frogurt Frozen Yogurt

Anyone who knows me know that I am a big Cold Stone Creamery fan. BIG.

But the other night my mom and I visited a new place at Valley Fair Mall (well, one of the new businesses outside the mall).

Frogurt is a self-serve, pay-by-the-ounce, frozen yogurt place. I haven’t had frozen yogurt in years. I can’t remember the last time. I forgot what I was missing.

Well, let me tell you, it was great! There are 16 flavors to choose from and TONS of toppings. They had things like cereal (fruity pebbles, captain crunch), candy bars, cookie dough, nuts, and fresh fruit.

I chose vanilla frozen yogurt and topped it with crushed up Andes Mints and Reeses. It was divine. For two large cups of yogurt with a couple mix-ins, I only spent about $6 (you pay 35 cents per ounce). Compared to what I would have spent at Cold Stone, that is a steal.

I am not dumb enough to think this is “healthy” by any means. I am a Seinfeld fan, after all, and it reminds me of the “Non-Fat Yogurt” episode.

So, if any of my Utah friends want to check out something new and delicious, head over to Frogurt!

  1. They have one of those places at Jordan Landing called Yogurtland….Brock and I LOVE it!

    • It’s funny, people either love it or hate it. I am not a regular yogurt fan. I am scared of dairy products as a general rule. But freeze and flavor that stuff, throw some toppings on, and I am good to go! I read some online reviews where people said they think it tastes sour, I didn’t think so. I’ll have to give the place at JL a try!
