  20. The statue is gorgeous and so striking. Do you know the story behind it?

    • Unfortunately not, Kristen. All I could find out about it is it’s name (at least I think it’s the name), Monument of the Gorge. It is located in a small village called Kresna. There are SO many statues and monuments in Bulgaria and so few of them are properly recognized or honored. I’d love to know more about this particular one myself.

  21. I always love to see your photos of Bulgaria, and this weeks are as amazing as ever. Love the donkey, and intrigued by the statue!

  22. Love the snowman too and all the lovely scenery.

    • The monument is very captivating. I could only find the name, Monument of the Gorge. It’s in Kresna village. I tried to find more about it online but couldn’t find anything. Thanks for stopping by and Happy WW to you as well!

  24. Love that sepia shot of the bare bushes and fence. So stark and beautiful.

  25. Awesome and unusual sights, Angle in stone, love the withered vineyard and donkey at rest.
